GO TEAM LEXI!  I’m so excited to share with you that Matchless Beauty is doing our very first fundraiser and it is for a very, very special girl and her mama. This is Lexi and her mom Shannon.

Lexi is a very sweet little girl.  She’s four years old, is full of life, love, and joy.  The photo above was not too long ago before Lexi was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.  This is Lexi today.

Lexi was diagnosed with Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma and now has a leptomeningeal spread across the brain.  I was made aware of Lexi’s heartbreaking condition on Facebook when I read a status update from Lexi’s mom, Shannon (who I used to be connected with through a previous business).  I spoke with Shannon and together, we decided to do a fundraiser right here at my online boutique for the month of October to help Lexi and Shannon get through this difficult time of treatments.

For the month of October, I have created a special, easy-to-find page.  It’s the link at the top that says ‘GIVING BACK’ which goes into a little more detail about how we will be doing the fundraiser.  But basically it’s this:

When you shop from the two products under my special “Team Lexi Fundraiser” category, ALL PROFITS will be directly donated to Team Lexi.  There are two products available and both will help bring awareness to Lexi’s story as well as childhood cancer.   One product is our Teen / Adult Leggings in “Team Lexi” (written up the side in purple) and the other product is a Unisex Raglan in “Team Lexi”.  Both products look wonderful worn together or separate.

These are a great way to support Lexi & Shannon because, when you wear your shirt and leggings, you’ll be able to share Lexi’s story with others and raise awareness for children and their families who suffer & struggle through their cancer diagnoses and treatments.   The purpose of this fundraiser isn’t just to raise funds, but to raise awareness and hope for Lexi & Shannon during this tough time.

Please consider purchasing for the fundraiser and sharing this information on social media so we can have a wonderfully successful fundraiser this month!  While you’re at it, please say a prayer for Lexi and her mom.  They are both such precious matchless beauties in the eyes of God and we want to make sure they feel loved and cared for.
