Have you ever watched your kids do an engaging art project or fun craft and secretly wished you were the one doing it? Recently, my kids were painting with watercolors.  They sprinkled salt over the wet paint to create supernova paintings (if you haven’t done this technique before, its so easy and creates such an eye-catching effect)!  I sat there showing them the technique and as I watched the colors spread and blend, deep down, I missed doing these kinds of fun art projects myself.  Really, how many of us give ourselves permission to be creative just for creativity’s sake without feeling guilty? I certainly have a hard time, but offering my faithful blog-readers a freebie gave me a great reason to!  Goodbye guilt!  Creativity wins today!

My kids were off to the grandparent’s house for the afternoon and  although I could have gotten a TON of toy-organizing done (aka walking through my kids room with a giant trash bag), I noticed the watercolors sitting there and decided to have some fun…for my readers’ sake of course.  Time to paint and spread some words of encouragement! I love when creativity and my mission for Matchless Beauty can connect seamlessly.  Plus, what blogger doesn’t love rewarding her faithful followers with freebies?
