One who achieved victory in Ancient Greece was awarded a crown of leaves to wear. It was a symbol of triumph in their event. As believers, we also are victorious because of what Christ has done for us. We can’t do it alone, but we can triumph if we call on the Holy Spirit!
But sometimes we forget. We can wake up in the morning and know the truth in our head. But no sooner are we done with our morning coffee then we find ourselves living in defeat…defeat in our emotions and thoughts. Defeat in sin and in fears. We even experience defeat in what we eat!
These 18 Bible verses will remind you of ways God helps believers live victorious because of Christ. And as a bonus, you’ll not only see these verses listed here, but you can also download FREE printable cards of all 18 verses.
